In a collaborative endeavor to provide air connectivity between Vijayawada and Singapore, IndiGo is all set to operate the first international flight from Vijayawada jointly with the Andhra Pradesh government. As part of the strategic partnership between the two, the low-cost airline will operate two weekly non-stop services between Vijayawada and Singapore effective The first flight will fly out of Vijayawada International Airport on December 04, 2018.
Mr. Ajay Jain, IAS Principal Secretary-Energy, I&I said, “We feel excited to engage IndiGo, being the most preferred airline, to connect state capital Vijayawada to Singapore. This will fulfil the dreams of Telugu Diaspora in Singapore and great convenience for our investors and business community”.
