The e-tailing giant, Amazon, is planning to go to Braselton, in northeast suburb of Atlanta, with a brand new 600000 sq ft fulfillment and distribution center. This center will serve the company to pick, pack and cargo large sized items that cannot be taken via the traditional sorting systems. Amazon will likely be ready with the center before the peak holiday season and its expected rise in e-commerce business.
It is heartening to also know that about 500 new jobs will get created with the opening of this center.
