Qatar’s state-run special economic zone developer and operator, Manateq, is attracting more FDI by offering 100% ownership in its logistics SEZ. Ras Bufontas, located near Hamad International Airport, is one of the three SEZs operated by Manateq and will cater to the air freight division of the logistics company. Qatar Airways have already agreed to set up its office in Ras Bufontas.
Ras Bufontas serves segments like air cargo, logistics for air freight, fashion, advanced technology, automotive, aerospace, healthcare and medical devices. Enabling its services, Ras Bufontas will be equipped with service hubs, public spaces, worker accommodation spaces, utilities access, versatile office and retail space and its own headquarters.
