Indian Aftermarket Business Expected to Grow to USD 30 Billion by 2026 – ACMA

As the world’s biggest trade fair for the automotive aftermarket, Automechanika spotlights innovation and solution in the fields of parts, systems, tuning, workshop equipment, bodywork and paintwork, car wash, IT & Management and the latest automobile services.

Representing India’s strengths in these key segments, over 175 auto component manufacturers will be presenting their products and innovations at the fair for five days. It is an ideal platform for the Indian auto component manufacturers to explore aftermarket business opportunities and connect with global auto component suppliers. Among the exhibiting companies at Automechanika Frankfurt are India’s leading players like Sona Koyo Steering Systems, Shriram Pistons & Rings Ltd., Talbros Automotive Components Ltd., Nipman Fastners Industries Pvt Ltd., Lucas TVS Ltd., Sigma Corporation India Ltd., Mansons International Pvt Ltd., Bajaj Bearings Pvt Ltd., and Ample Autotech Pvt Ltd. among others.

Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC), Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP), Government of India, and Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India will be participating collectively with over 175 Indian auto component manufacturers, marking it as the 6th largest participation among the exhibiting companies. India’s participation is set to inspire confidence among global consumers.

In the domestic arena, the Indian aftermarket business is expected to grow to an estimated USD 30-32 billion by 2026 from current USD 6.5 billion indicating a surge in demand for spare parts in the Indian Vehicle Park. Six months on, global auto component players are set to come together at ACMA Automechanika New Delhi vying for this lucrative market. The Indian edition is scheduled from 21-24 March, 2017 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

The Indian edition will provide the much needed technical impetus to the India’s Automotive Mission Plan (AMP) 2026 by fostering trade and knowledge exchange. India’s participation at the Frankfurt edition is set to inspire confidence among global consumers.
