The logistics subsidiary of Boeing Co. – Aviall – has tied up with Michelin’s aircraft tyre business and the ‘global strategic collaboration’ is expected to result in improved logistics and supply chain models. This is slated to better services to field base operators, maintenance, repair and overhaul operations and fleet operators around the world.
Aviall, based in Dallas, is the world’s largest provider of new aviation parts and related aftermarket services distributing for over 240 manufacturers in North America, Europe and APAC.
